Please help I have lost my running mojo, in fact i'v done no sport of any kind for weeks unless you count olympic chocolate eating as sport, now I know its mostly as I have been so suer busy organising a big surprise party but that is now finished, so really need to get back into a healthy mindset and start to enjoy running again but need some motivation or a big kick up the ass to get back into eat, also an extra 3 hours in a day would be helpful. any ideas

Are there any Santa Runs in your area? Booking something fun like that for close to Christmas could give you the motivation you're looking for.

Good idea I too lost my mojo but I figure it's not long till the end of the year and I plan to run three times every week for the rest of 2012. Join me? Even if it's only a 15-20 minute run, it's a start and that way come the New Year, we'll be good to go

That is a great idea Pammo, just getting over the threshold is the hardest part!

Yes, Join Pammo. Its the getting out the door that is the hardest. Tell yourself you are just going for a quick walk, have your runners on, start by walking and see what happens.

I often lose my mojo, I find if I read lots of running related websites/magazines then someone will say something that brings that mojo right back again. If it's in your blood then it's there forever :-)

Whenever I feel like I'm losing motivation, I try and find a race to sign up to, so you have a goal to aim for.

Excellent - now book up a race for early next year - something that will challenge you. That'll help keep you motivated throughout the winter.
