I need to start thinking about speed rather than distance again, it makes for quicker winter runs

Are we doing Barnsley this Saturday then??
When you call a slow run 9.10m/m I think I may be seeing a whole load of your ass up the Locke Park hills!!

It wouldn't be very Shibby of me to say Hi and run off though, which I have no intention of doing. You asked to do the Park run "Together" so providing your not quicker then it it will be run as so and not a race but first I have to register and print off the Park run thingy I find it strange that no-one can offer some sort of advice though on what to run on Thursday as I have no set agenda's its looking like a steady 5k again depending on how the legs feel tomorrow as they have felt a bit Lethargic today at work.

Went for a steady 5 miler tonight but not as slow as Tuesday's effort just something sort of in between. Legs felt tired still from Tuesday's run and tbh I was considering taking another day of rest but I thought what the heck and got out in the cold (brr) which gave me chance to see how the Aldi base layer would keep me warm enough or not....well it did..too hot to be fair. Enough of my waffling so here's the run data ... connect.garmin.com/activity/236987293Oh and did I mention I also managed to knock 94 seconds of this route....YAY not bad going for tired legs

I may do but it wont be a quick race. I'm thinking along the lines of seeing how tomorrows LSR goes as to wether I think I will be able to get the HM distance or am I hoping for too much too soon ?

I don't think so - if you can do 11.2 you can do 13.1! Let us know how it goes.
