Just after a bit of advice from the seasoned HM/Marathon runners amongst everyone here. I only started to add the l/s/r of around 10 miles in the last few weeks but although the legs feel fine afterwards with a bit of stretching it got me wondering what you guys/gals do after your l/s/r ? Is there something that would be of benefit apart from a 15 minute stretch before and after ?

The usual post-run stuff immediately afterwards, for the most part - stretch, shower, something to eat. I'll then try to take it relatively easy for the rest of the day, although this doesn't mean no activity - have found that it's a good idea to keep moving at least a little bit (going out for a walk, for example) so that the muscles don't tighten up too much.

Thanks Martin. I do sometimes after most of what you posted take one of the dogs around the block (1.25 mile) for a steady walk but I tend to be worry about being jolted unexpectedly by them The following day the legs feel fine but seem a little lethargic at times

The following day the legs feel fine but seem a little lethargic at times That sounds pretty normal to me... (Seems like a pretty good sign that you've worked hard (so are still feeling it a bit), but not too hard.)
