And if so, what do you play? Me, I play the ukulele. Have joined a club and love it. Am toying with the idea of setting up one in Plymouth. I currently travel 40 odd miles to Exeter. Can play many chords; but haven't managed to actually play a song in full yet. Currently trying to find something more modern to play, than what we currently play.

I wish I was. My dad was a musician, a guitarist but I never showed a talent. It seems to have passed onto my daughter because she plays piano and a couple of weeks ago picked up a guitar and now plays it like she's been doing so for ages.

I've taken up the ukulele recently too and am loving it - still fairly mediocre at the moment but coming along. If you haven't come across it already Ukulele for Dummies is a really good instruction book - its about £11 on Amazon. For music see also (again if you haven't already) ukulelehunt.com/tab-chords/Perhaps we can form a band! ;D

Thank you. I've joined a group and was given songs they practise and was told by a friend that I should get the songbook his group uses. Theirs is much more modern than ours.
