Don't skive off from doing any exercises or stretches from the physio
Don't overcook your first run back
Don't lose heart!

I second what Taff says. I would also add: Just because you feel ok, it doesn't mean you. I tried a few times this year to run thinking I was ok. I wasn't at all.

I can agree by proxy. Mr Twinnies has been out for 4 months, he thought he was OK so tried a run last week, he did too much and is not fecked again

Don't come back too soon from injury.
I did. Twice. And I'm now facing either 2-3 months of physio and/or a knee operation.
