So I'm a cheater. I run on a treadmill. Before the end of the year (from today) I would like to run 60miles. I make it 10 weeks left in the year so 6 miles a week I dont have any speed goals as I want to focus on just running for now. I'll think up exciting goals for 2013.

Running on a treadmill is just as valid as running outside. It doesn't make you any less of a runner.

I agree, it just uses different muscles. I shall be doing a lot of treadmill running over the Winter months coz I'm a wimp in the cold lol.

It doesn't make you any less of a runner - but it does make you more of a hamster ;-)
