As the title says. I'm doing all 3 disciplines but with no real plan or schedule so could do with a detailed training plan really.

I take it the restraining order hasn't arrived yet then?

How many days a week are you going to train and what are the best times for you to train and how much training time do you want to allow?

Restraining order? Oh that's what was the judge was on about, tbh I wasn't listening as I was to busy trying to cadge your address off the court clerk. Apparently that's "contempt of court" as was going in my crutchless tri-suit - worlds gone mad.

It would appear that for all your mockery my training plan is all you have to go with. I've given it some thought and expanded it a bit.
Week 1: Run Cycle Swim
Week 2: Cycle Swim Run
Repeat but add in one hours hopping every third week.

How many days a week are you going to train and what are the best times for you to train and how much training time do you want to allow? Thank God, a sane person! I guess 4 days a week training at least. Nights are mostly best for me and I can get out 10 hours a week or so, maybe more every other week. Maybe I should put what I'm already doing and see what you think? Monday, cycle 14 miles, 5k run ( most weeks) and 1 hour swim Tuesday, Club session, intervals etc, usually 7-8 miles Wednesday, Cycle 14 miles, Swim with Tri Club for an hour Thursday Cycle 14 miles, & sometimes home workout Friday, LSR anything up to 8 - 10 miles at the mo Sat, rest Sunday, long cycle every other week

Basically she's following my plan - though she's not doing the hopping, which I think's a bit foolish.

That is awesome already, I am not sure I would add or take anything away from it.
How many days a week do you work?

That is awesome already, I am not sure I would add or take anything away from it. How many days a week do you work? 4 Days a week. I know it looks like I'm doing a lot but it feels like I have no structure.

you have heaps of structure in there, the only thing I was thinking and it's only from what I have read that Lucy has posted, the cycling is key to your Ironman training, so once you're used to that schedule I would either make one of your mid week bike rides longer or start riding in and out of work every day you work.
You have a great mix of every discipline I think as long as each session is a quality session you should more than do yourself justice, rest is also important you must feel charged and ready to go, you have a lot to contend with working 4 days a week plus the two little'uns I really don't know how you do what you already do! You're fricking AMAZING!

I have no experience in this but was once told by a great friend and triathlete that the hours spent on the bike aid the running fitness and he couldn't stress enough about the art of eating and drinking on the bike, even if he only did a short cycle, always going through the drills. I have no doubt you will be simply brilliant!

What you're doing at the moment looks like a pretty solid training week to me - a nice balance of swim, run and bike, with reasonable amounts of all three. If you were to design (or be given) a training plan, I have a feeling that it would look pretty similar to what you've set out.
A thought - could you do something with one of the 14-mile cycle sessions to make it a bit different? (thinking something like doing part of it as a high-RPM session, or some short intervals - something to make it different to a normal steady cycle)
