Just wondering what sort of sessions people are doing. At the moment I just throw on a CD (Meatloaf, Motorhead and Iggy Pop being current favourites) and do what I suppose is a fartleky type session as the music/mood takes me, which seems to be working quite well but it is a bit random and I am thinking I should be doing something a bit more structured. (Music wise I am limited to CDs as home internet is rubbish and I don't have a TV or DVD player where the bike is - any CD suggestions other than the above would also be most welcome.)

Sometimes I follow a Video on the laptop, sometimes I just stick some funky tunes on. I try to mix it up a bit with sprints, recovery and out of the seat climbing.

I usually set mine up in front of the TV and put a DVD or some recorded TV on to keep me entertained. Mixing the pace/effort up is a good way of breaking up the potential monotony of cycling without moving - have found that it does help to make it feel like time is passing by more quickly.
(I do need to invest in a half-decent fan, though - sessions on the trainer are hot work...)
