What you're doing at the moment looks like a pretty solid training week to me - a nice balance of swim, run and bike, with reasonable amounts of all three. If you were to design (or be given) a training plan, I have a feeling that it would look pretty similar to what you've set out. A thought - could you do something with one of the 14-mile cycle sessions to make it a bit different? (thinking something like doing part of it as a high-RPM session, or some short intervals - something to make it different to a normal steady cycle) Cheers for all the replies guys. Martin, I'm limited with time so most commutes to work on the bike are done at a decent pace. I have got my commute times down from 35 mins each way to 25.

That's fair enough - was just thinking that you might be able to add some variety into these rides (even if it's just riding harder for a minute or two a few times on the way, or really pushing going up a hill, or something like that) Nice improvement on the commute time, by the way
